Home of Giants

Welcome to Tarangire National Park, the true Home of Giants. Here you'll encounter some of Africa's largest elephant herds roaming freely across the savannah, beneath ancient baobab trees that have stood for hundreds — some for thousands — of years.

Giant elephants walk beneath giant baobabs, creating one of Tanzania's most iconic landscapes. Alongside these natural giants, the park is home to lion, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and over 500 species of birds.

Africa's Garden of Eden

Home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, and one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations. Often called Africa's Garden of Eden, the crater holds an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and the endangered black rhinoceros.

Surrounded by lush forest, open grassland and a soda lake, Ngorongoro is one of the few places on Earth where wildlife and the Maasai people continue to coexist in harmony.

Where Forest Meets the Lake

A beautiful destination where lush groundwater forest, open grassland and a sparkling soda lake come together to form one of Tanzania's most diverse ecosystems. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, playful troops of baboons, and thousands of flamingos gathering along the shore.

Though compact, Manyara is rich in elephant, giraffe, zebra, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and more than 400 bird species — a new side of Tanzania revealed on every drive.

Through his connection with Tanzania's wildlife, landscapes, people and culture, Meky envisioned a travel brand that would take people beyond ordinary tourism and closer to the heart of Africa.
